All this is because regions are “locked” on your X brand printer. It may not work properly or you may not find the right printer cartridges.

Well I finally got the refill bottles for the CISS and filled her up only to find that the Cyan was kinda dried up on the head, so I removed the cartridges and cleaned them with a baby wipe (they work great) Well when I reinstalled the CISS my printer didn’t recognize the cartridges, I tried turning it off for a few minutes several times and it didn’t work, I tried the resetting utility and that didn’t work either….īut the last suggestion T-C had worked great: Just remove the cartridges, turn off the printer then turn the printer back on without the cartridges and let it run back and forth for a minute, then hit the prompt to reinstall the cartridges, then install them, hit ok, the printer will go thru a charging cycle and then you’ll be reset and good to go and can continue printing.You plan to travel abroad and take your printer with you? Maybe you’re moving to South Africa and would like to take your printer with you? But 2 weeks ago I got real low on Cyan ink in my external tanks and I was real low on money so I just switched over to my other RX580 that has refillables in it. I have had this CISS in my RX580 for over 6 years and its always been flawless.

I got to say “Thanks” to Tricks-Collections for their advice about how to reset my Epson RX580. SUGGESTION : Remove the cartridges, turn off the printer and reinstall the cartridges.
PROBLEM : After installing the CI system the printer does not recognize some of the cartridges. The ink that fills the syringe can be slowly added back into the top of the ink tank. Use the provided syringe to extract ink and air from the bottom of the cartridges. SUGGESTION : If the ink is added into the system too quickly, then it allows air to enter the system. PROBLEM : After refilling the tanks the printer won’t print. SUGGESTION : If the tubing is not adjusted correctly, if it’s too short or too long causing it to slap the inside of the printer. PROBLEM : The tubing is getting caught inside the printer resulting in an error message “paper loading error”. If the air breathers are covered with dried ink, you can rinse the air breather and dry thoroughly to regain use. Also the ink tank should be sitting on the same level surface as the printer. SUGGESTION : The shipping plugs need to be removed before installing and replaced with the air breathers to eliminate any pressure being built up in the system, along with protecting the ink from contamination. PROBLEM : When I have completed a printing job the ink is siphoning backwards down the tubing. (Make sure to thoroughly rinse the syringe when completed.)
If white lines continue, use the provided syringe to suck the air out of the bottom of the trouble cartridge and you can add the ink that fills the syringe back into the top of the CI system. SUGGESTION : There is air in the system or cartridges. PROBLEM : Banding or white lines in my print outs.
